Terms of Use
Last updated October 26, 2026
The short version
Frontline is a personal shift calendar. It is not your department’s official schedule, so always confirm your shifts with your department. Keep your sign-in to yourself. Pro is bought and refunded through Apple or Google, and yearly subscriptions renew until you cancel them in the store. Agencies own what they publish. Use Frontline lawfully, and understand that we provide it as is.
This summary is here to be helpful; the full sections below are the complete terms.
About these terms
Frontline - Shift Calendar (“Frontline”) is published by
Code 3 Tek LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). These terms cover your use
of the Frontline web app at app.frontlinecalendar.com,
the Frontline app on Android, and Frontline for Agencies. By using
Frontline you agree to them. On iPhone and iPad, your use of the app
is covered by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License
Agreement, which the app links to.
How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
What Frontline is
Frontline is a personal shift calendar for first responders. It helps you plan around your rotation, track trades, hours and other entries, and see your schedule on your devices.
Frontline is not an official department record. Your department’s own schedule, staffing system and policies always come first. Confirm your schedule, trades, leave and hours with your department, and do not rely on Frontline alone to decide when you are due at work.
Your account
Accounts are optional. You need one only for account sync, the web app, or Frontline for Agencies. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address.
Keep your sign-in to yourself. Do not share your codes or let anyone else use your account, and keep your email account secure, since anyone who can read your email can sign in. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has access, contact us. You can delete your account at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Pro and subscriptions
Some features need Frontline Pro, sold as an in-app purchase. Pro is billed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play, under their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies; we cannot issue them ourselves.
A yearly Pro subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel it in the store’s subscription settings on your device or account. If a yearly subscription ends, the Pro features it covers stop, and account sync pauses without deleting your data.
If you are signed in, your Pro purchase is linked to your account so it follows you to the web app and your other devices.
Agency content
Schools, academies and departments can use Frontline for Agencies to publish schedule entries (ex. classes or clinical shifts) to their members. Entries an agency publishes belong to that agency, and the agency is responsible for them. If you have a question about an entry, ask the agency. Entries stay with the agency if you leave it or delete your account.
If you publish entries for an agency, you confirm you are allowed to do so on its behalf.
Acceptable use
When you use Frontline, do not:
- Break the law or use Frontline to harass, threaten or harm anyone.
- Sign in as someone else or join an agency you are not part of.
- Try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or around our security.
- Disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the service, or scrape it with automated tools.
- Upload anything harmful, such as malware, or content you have no right to share.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Frontline accurate and running, but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that Frontline will always be available, error free, or that your schedule, sync or reminders will always be correct or on time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Code 3 Tek LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, missed shifts, lost pay or other losses, arising from your use of Frontline. Our total liability for any claim about Frontline is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Termination
You can stop using Frontline and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk. Sections that by their nature should last, such as No warranty and Limitation of liability, still apply after that.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Frontline evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a clearer notice in the app or on this page. Continuing to use Frontline after a change means you accept the updated terms.
